Friday: Sept 11: Just finished a tour with Stompin Tom, western Canada songwriter performer Tim Hus brings his "Bush pilot Buckaroo" tour to the Red Canoe Cafe. Nominated for Canadian songwriter of the Year in 2008, Tim Hus records for Stoney Plain and writes tunes much like his fellow westerner Corb Lund. Dinner and show 25.00 or just come out for a drink and the music. Music begins at 8 pm.

Saturday and Sunday Sept 26 & 27. Rural Ramble. We'll be hosting an old fashioned harvest kitchen party with Barney McCaffrey from 2-5 pm. Good food, good music, demonstrations and crafts for the kids.

Oct 3& 4: Madawaska Studio Tour. Drop in for lunch and to see a fabulous selection of local Algonquin and Wilderness art by Linda Sorensen and other area artists.

Nashville songwriter-performer Alan Rhody on tour at the Red Canoe Cafe. Alan started playing music in the coffee houses of Vancouver and Toronto back in the heydey of Neil Young and Gordon Lightfoot. A close friend of Murray McLaughlin, Alan now lives and works in Nashville but fits in a Canadian tour every year or so. And luckily for us, that tour stops here in Wilno on Thursday April 23.
