Babes for Breasts Oct 9

Thursday Oct 9 brings Ana Miura and a host of young women performers to the Red Canoe as part of the BABES for BREASTS cancer fundraising tour. Pay what you can donations and come out and support these great women who have performed on stages across North America at Blues and Folk festivals... Music starts at 8 pm and we have some great dinner specials on that evening...housemade pizza or thai curry or natchos with soup or salad and a dessert for only 9.99 per person. Glen Reid Sunday Oct 5

The ever-popular Glen Reid returns to the Red Canoe Cafe for a dinner show from 5 to 8:30 pm on Sunday Oct 5. Drop in after the studio tour for a delicious harvest dinner and some great music! No cover charge.

Alan Rhody Oct 4

Enjoy a wonderful show of original folk-alt country music with Nashville songwriter-singer Alan Rhody on Saturday Oct 4 at 8 pm. This will be Alan's third visit to the Red Canoe Cafe!!! He'll also be doing a songwriting workshop on Saturday afternoon for any aspiring writers. Cost for workshop is 35.00 and can be reserved at 613-756-9515.

Glen Reid and Rev Ken

Now pay close attention. The guy with the fiddle is Rev Ken who is playing here on Aug 22 with Fiddlin Zeke. The guy with the guitar is Glen Reid who ISN"T playing here on Aug 22 but WILL be playing here sometime in September (TBA). Rev Ken will probably join him for a song or two. So keep checking it out and come on out on Aug 22 for Rev Ken and Fiddlin Zeke. 8 pm. No cover charge.

The guy in the hat with the fiddle is Fiddlin Zeke. He's here on Aug 22 with Rev Ken who is NOT in this picture. The guys in the picture are Kirby and Yates...who are NOT here this August (but were here a lot last August). Got that straight??? Anyhow, Fiddlin Zeke and Rev Ken (whom you'll see in a minute in another picture with Glen Reid (who isn't here until September) are playing here on Friday Aug 22. Come out and sort it out for yourselves. It'll be fun!!!! (The painting behind them isn't here anymore either...it's in Fort McMurray).
