The guy with the guitar is Glen Reid who ISN"T playing here on Aug 22 but WILL be playing here sometime in September (TBA). Rev Ken will probably join him for a song or two. So keep checking it out and come on out on Aug 22 for Rev Ken and Fiddlin Zeke. 8 pm. No cover charge.

Rev Ken and Fiddlin Zeke Aug 22 Red Canoe Cafe
The guy in the hat with the fiddle is Fiddlin Zeke. He's here on Aug 22 with Rev Ken who is NOT in this picture. The guys in the picture are Kirby and Yates...who are NOT here this August (but were here a lot last August). Got that straight??? Anyhow, Fiddlin Zeke and Rev Ken (whom you'll see in a minute in another picture with Glen Reid (who isn't here until September) are playing here on Friday Aug 22. Come out and sort it out for yourselves. It'll be fun!!!! (The painting behind them isn't here anymore either...it's in Fort McMurray).
These little piggies are going to market shortly....some to be chops and roasts for the Red Canoe Cafe two as the main course at Robin and Lucas' wedding and the final two will continue to eat the cafe scraps (they love the cheesecake and the leftover Wilno Heritage beer) and will become our own delicious Red Canoe Cafe sausages in October.
Harvest dinners from local farmers.
This fall we will be featuring our local farmers and gardeners in a series of harvest dinners on Saturday evening in the Red Canoe Cafe. Delicious fresh garden vegetables, locally raised pork and beef, chickens from just across the road (why did the chicken cross the road jokes not necessary). More information and menus to follow shortly.
